Squint is when the two eyes are not parallel. Apart from it's cosmetic problems and the susequent confidence issues, it can give rise to a lazy eye and loss of stereoscopic vision. Because the development of the eye takes place during the first ten to twelve years of life, it is important to treat squint as early in childhood as possible to prevent lazy eye and loss of stereoscopic vision. The treatment includes, glasses, excercises, surgery or a combination of these. All facilities for the entire diagnosis and treatment are available at our hospital.
